It was 1932 and there were many hard times for us. One day my mom was in her way to her work, and it was there were she got sick. A lot of dust found the way inside my moms lungs and she had to go to a hospital, but she just earned $0.12 a day so she couldn't afford it. Many of her friends tried to help her, but they even had to go to a place to get food, sometimes the people will not even get a slice of bread! There were many hard times! No wonder it was called THE GREAT DEPRESSION.:)
