The Great Depression, a time where families had only each other, where banks closed ,and where no jobs were to be found, it was most of all a time of need!One day of October 1929,a very awful thing happened, that was the day the stock market crashed and many people lost much money.Then factories started overproducing products and prices went up as a result people couldn't afford things like new cars, toys and luxury items.Eventually the banks closed down due to the stock markets goin down ,and the money saved for other people and even paychecks of business men were lost.The Great Depression was a of course depressing and sorrowful time for alot of people and greatly effected the poor. So as you see we people today are very privileged for what we have and are able to have, and that the government has found a way to keep a depression from happening again.
