Dust Bowl

The dust bowl started when droughts occurred, it caused sand to move around with the wind. Many farmer were not capable to plant crops without rain. With all the all the sand some people could not survive. This caused them to move away. They moved away to California. People thought it would be better in California, so they packed their small goods and moved to California. Unfortunately, people could not find jobs they didn't have money for food. Some of the people that stayed in the dust bowl started to eat the sand. In fact their were so much sand that people couldn't open their front door. That's how much sand their was in the dust bowl. High winds that scattered the soil caused dust storms.
