I am a little girl named Alissa and I lived when the great depression happened. Thats why they call it the great depression, because alot of people lost their jobs,money, and lives, because at the same time a drought was occurring because of the rain shortage. Most of the people who lost their jobs were Mexican, or Mexican American. Because of this they had to move back to Mexico. However adults weren't the only ones to suffer, children faced with
serious
malnutrition. And that was the time of the great depression.
