This is a journal about the Great Depression. In the 1920's America seemed so peaceful and immune to problems. But all that was about to change. At the time,Herbert Hoover was president. Many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans had to find jobs. They had very poor health and had to live in very horrible households. There were so many lots of people lost their jobs.
