It was horrible living during the great depression. I remember waiting in line for soup or bread just so my family could have dinner that night. I also remember seeing people in fancy clothes and perfect hair-dos and hats. They barely glanced at me. It was a horrible time, but I survived. Everything got better by the time World War II started because everyone had jobs again. But I will always remember the time that everything was bad.
