Many people lost their jobs and the stock was down. Billions of people how came to California. Did not get money or a job. So people had to wait in line for a long time. To get scraps of food to feed to their children. And some people did not get scraps. They blamed president Hoover of the depression. Some people want to elect President Roosevelt.
