Before i was just a normal little girl.then my life changed completely.it was called the great depression.See all the stocks went really low so everyone lost alot of money.some people even lost their homes including some rich people.even worst the really poor people were forced out of town because they couldn't pay.one of my friends family was forced to go out of town. i was heartbroken when i saw her being pushed out the way to leave town.my family and me had to sell some of our house just to pay of our debt,taxes,and bills.we decided to move to western California with my friend.there was the California gold rush.my family came just in time to get some of the gold.so there was some hope for my family.life got alot better after the goldrush.in California my parents were able to get good paying jobs.so did my friends family.were still the best of friends.
