The great depression a horrilbe time period for a lot if people. million people were out and jobs and homeless. so people were lucky than others like minnie but others were not they lives in a place shantytown. But Franklin D Roosevelt[President] tried to make the economy a little better by making programs and jobs so they could by a house and stop living in shantytowns.After a few moths the economy slowly began to grow back.
