Dear Journal, Families are starving even more without our usual meals of stale bread and warm soup. I wish the government would do something about this or everyone will starve to death for eternity. Ever since the war about 2 miles back north of Dakota, I was trying to grow crops, but , the weather was too cold and the only way you could get crops was to steal them from rich families, which got us into more trouble with money and health. My family hasn't had anything to eat since last year and we are barely skin anymore. We don't know where we are and it appears to be an island of some sort. If you find this journal entry in the sea please, help my family before it's too late.
