We used to have so much fun! Playing tag, picking flowers, drawing pictures.... not anymore. Alot of my friends have moved away, gotten sold, or even starved! Pa has left to make money, he told me he would be back soon, but that was 2 years ago. Ma and I are keeping: My two little brothers and us alive. She works 14 a a day, 7 days a week. I work 10, on the farm. Its hard, and i know it. This is the time of the Great Depression! Its really bad, an i dont think it will get better.
