Today when I sat down to a wonderful looking dinner ma told me some terrible news. She used to work at the plowing field but she and many other women have been reworked. Ma now stays home with me and Familla my little sister. My granny is coming for a visit and maybe she can give a help. She is very rich compared to me and ma.The way all this depression is a burden is just not like the 30's. Well I kept eating my dinner being thankful that I have food on the table and a bed to sleep in. Ma told me that many people have been sent away from their homes and on to plains in the country. Maybe those yanks will do some good for us. I just wish sometimes pa would have come to America and not stayed in old grumpy brittan. Ma says even pa is going through this tragedy. But tomorrow we will head out to the market and see what we can afford. I had to sell most of my clothes so that I could eat dinner. so all I have is my big brother's clothes. He also I wish were here but he moved across America to a place called California while we stay here in the Carolinas. Ma says i need to get some sleep because it will be very busy tomorrow. ma also said that we might have to buy some seeds instead of buying a whole veggie. To me I think things will be to much. So also I might be meeting a new farm girl life. But I will just pray foe my father and everybody on this planet.
