We moved

Florida, Grade: 4

Today many men ran into our home and now we lay in a small little tent. i have never been out here before. many other children and adults have no home, just like us. mom tells me that everybody has gone in debt. mom and dad call it the great depression. hopefully it will go away soon. another topic! about an hour ago a little girl about my age walked up to my tent. she had a terrified look on her face. i pulled her in and she explained to mother and i that she had been separated from her daddy. they were riding in a trailor and an animal pushed her out. now mother is cooking some stew over a fire me and Amber just made. i smell it right now. an hour ago jaden my little brother took a stroll around this grassy plain and he says he found a large waterfall and stream that has fresh water. do you know what that means? we get to go bathe and drink some fresh water. mother said we will be sleeping here tonight so we need to be nice and clean. so tomorrow i will right back.
