When the Great Depression was happening my family was losing their crops, livestock, and houses. It was so bad that we about lost all of our money!!! In the 1920's the economy was in very good shape the market was booming but in 1929 people lost their life savings when the Great Depression was in affect. Knowing that I was only 12 years old I had to work in a shopping mart. I had to restock the shelves and be the cashier. It was not a very good paying job. when the Great Depression was going on there was huge dust storms that made me choke and cough.
