While I was helping my mom with dinner,my dad burst though the door,with his face red.''I lost my job!'',he cried.My mom told my brothers to go to bed.She didn't tell me to go to bed. I guess I was old enough.I was only twelve years old.The year is 1929.Seriously,it gets worse.''Guys,sit down.'',my dad said.He explained how the stock market crashed and how a lot of started to lose their jobs.''oh,no!''I screamed very loud.The next couple of weeks,my father tried to sell all kinds of stuff and still couldn't get any money.A few days later,we lost our home,land,and everything we had.I was very furious.My father knew he couldn't trust the bank because all our money was wiped out.This was the worst day of my life!
