One day my mother and I were eating dinner at the table and my dad was at work. All of a sudden I heard my dad bust through the door. I was so surprised because i had never seen my dad cry. He sat down at the table and told us that he had lost his job and all of our money in our stock had been lost. I started to cry. My dad explained to us that we would have to sell our house. I was really sad. Thats what happened in the 1929 Great Depression.
