Dear Diary,
Today, my master is forcing me to rise at four o'clock in the morning. I'm not very happy about this, but at least my owner is more considerate and understanding about owning a slave. Most other slaves don't know how to read and write because their master will not allow them to. I strongly disagree with slavery. I was born a slave and surely don't intend to die one.
