The Great Depression was the worst time in American history. Millions of people were unemployed and starving. The stock market collapsed, and there was a drought. People became homeless, moving place to place to look for work.
If I was in the Great Depression I would feel sad, hungry, and hopeless. I would try to help my family to think of the positives and try to have fun and laugh.
