If I used to live
in the great depression I would have to work in a young age. because it used to be horrible to all people they would not have jobs, we were paid like $1 dollar per hour,I have family so I need to work every day instead of going to school, if I don't work we are not going to have food to eat, I work at a camp peeling potatoes ,with my mom and two sisters,my dad works cultivating fruit,we live in a little house like where they put the horses, we barely fit in that small little house ,but at least we have someplace to live and jobs,family, and something to eat,I would like to study some day and learn,that's my goal but now I have to work for me and all my family,there are a lot of families that don't have jobs they live in the street suffering,some people at work want to have a strike to get better conditions but my dad and mom don't want to get involved with this they say we could lose our jobs and we are not want to be able to pay for our house. Right now we can't do a strike till we have a better job,some people are sent back to Mexico if the police catch them that's other dangerous thing that can happen to us,some people die from diseases or by not eating good,some day I'm going to have a good job and get out of this camp that I hate sometimes I think that I have the worst life ever but there are people that don't have jobs and family so i have a good enough life.well that's my life in the great depression.
