By: Jarely M
Texas, Grade: 4

During that melancholy depression I didn't have money and I had to sleep in the streets with out food. I felt so miserable because I couldn't help my parents. I asked my mom if she had lost her trust she responded no. I told her I had she told me to not lose my trust because I was too young and had quite a life to live. But I don't think I have a future mom because of what I'm going through. Like my uncle Shan he past away because of how we live I told my mom. Well every single night I reply to god please don't let us pass away. My mom informed. I told her I understand you mom from now on Ill try to not lose my trust I told her okay she told me I believe you. But mom are you just trying to not make me feel bad no I'm not informed my mom it's true later on in your life you will find a man that will love you and respect you. Maybe he can even be wealthy she said and you will have food to eat. That next day I meet a girl named Esperanza she said she was wealthy but something went wrong in my ranch she told me. But do you want to meet my mom? She asked. Yes I answer. After that I saw a boy so I asked Esperanza who is that boy Esperanza, he's just a friend of my she told me then I started talking to him. After I was done I went running to mama and asked her guess who I meet who she asked a boy called Miguel I said how nice she said.
