The Great Depression: Hard Times for Good Peo

The depression along with the dust storms created bad conditions for everybody. People looked for jobs but there weren’t enough to go around. Billions of dollars were lost and everybody in the U.S. felt the shock. People had to line up in bread lines because they had no money! So everybody blamed Hoover for the depression. So the public elected President Franklin Roosevelt who promised a “New Deal”, for American people. The New Deal finally pulled the American people out of a disaster.
