I cant belive Papa died. He was such a good man. I was told he was attacked by bandits. I cried my self to sleep. I woke up that morning feeling a little depressed. I still cant belive some one would kill Papa. I looked out at the valley full of the grapes. did nothing that day. Mamas friend was comforting Mama. I feel asleep crying again. I had a dream that i was being attacked by a bear. His hair was in my mouth. Someone tried pull him away, but they couldn't. He was holding me to point that i was being smuggled. The bear started shaking my shoulders. I opened my eyes then closed them again. The shaking was harder. I woke up. Mama shouted that the house was on fire. We ran out to the servants cabin. Tio Luis came up to propose and Mama. She might have accepted it. But she said they will escape on the wagon he is sending them to come to his new proprotey.
