As the days get colder and the nights come sooner,I wish we had more food. We don't even have enough money to pay the gas bill so we had to cut off our stove. We have heat from the fireplace and that is about it. Ma tried to fix soup and bread over the fireplace but It didn't work out very well. The bread fell into the fire and burned while the soup got cold cause we had to turn the fire down. Dinner was not very good. Sometimes I feel that we might as well be hobos living outside with the way we are living.I just wish life were better
