3 days ago, my mother and I had been placed outside the streets. Father had left home yesterday. He told me, he was going to find us some money again. Our family would be happy at last! Still, before mother and I had been forced into the streets, I looked outside my bedroom window, I still couldn't see father. What could be taking him so long. Was finding money for your family that hard? Or did father knew we were going to be in the streets, and just left first? Journal, my family is broken, and we're poor. Father left the family, and mother is getting
thinner
and sick. Dear Journal, for the past few days, mother and I slept outside our past house. The hard floors outside the streets were hard to sleep on. I quickly layed on head onto our brick house wall. A man came outside from the house, and pushed me away. The man said I was on his property. That day, mother was gone early in the morning begging for food. As I sat on the sidewalk, I saw a black car pull up. A man came out from the fancy car. He went to the other side of the car, and helped a beautiful lady out. As the man turned around, I saw him! I saw father, again. But this time he had someone else with him. I ran over to father. It turns out, father had remarried. He married a rich and fancy lady named, Sarah Quincy Williams. I held fathers hand and said,
