I woke up on a monday morning, remebering how hunngry i was last night. my family was mexican american. we couldnt afford enough food for a family of 8. so we had to starve. only on sundays we get to eat that was all my family could afford. todady was sunday it felt like it would never come. i see my mom crying and saying that she was a horrible mother. this was the time were th great deppresion was going on. all mexican familys were hoping for a change this ellection. so that even mexican people could have a happy family and not worrying about cathching a diesse. the dust was flying every were!! i heard my mom cry but when i got closer i saw my whole family was. I asked what happend my mom said my baby brother died since all the dust flying around made it hard for him to breate. the saddest part was he was only 2 monthes old.
