SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

1. To enter: simply visit the Dream Big Scholarship area of Scholastic's web site at http://scholastic.com/dreambigscholarship, complete the online registration form including teacher name, email address, phone number, city and state, and an optional statement about "why you are seeking a master's degree" in 140 characters or less. The Dream Big Scholarship sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins on February 8, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. EST and ends at 4 p.m. on June 15, 2010. A random drawing for one (1) grand-prize winner will occur soon after the final Sweepstakes deadline.

One entry per person. This Sweepstakes may only be entered online; no other method of entry will be accepted. No copies, facsimiles, or reproductions of the online entry form will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account submitted in the entry process.

2. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open only to U.S. educators and school administrative staff who are legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia), 18 years of age or older, and who teach in grades K-12 or who are employees in a registered public or private K-12 district or school, home school which is in compliance with the laws of the state where the home school is located or accredited private school, and who meet all admissions requirements as set forth by American College of Education ("American College of Education" or "ACE"). Applicants to ACE must: (i) hold a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution; (ii) have a 2.75 GPA or better (on a 4-point scale) from their last degree (if lower than 2.75, provisional acceptance may be possible upon the sole discretion of ACE); and (iii) hold a current teaching certificate or school services certificate. Void in Puerto Rico and where otherwise restricted or prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, American College of Education, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and production agencies, and their immediate families and those living in their households are not eligible to enter. Any person who attempts to defraud or in any tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for the Grand Prize (as defined below).

3. Grand-Prize Winner. The winner of the Grand Prize (the "Grand-Prize Winner") will be chosen soon after the final Sweepstakes entry deadline of June 15, 2010, 4:00 p.m. EST. The final drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes shall be final. The Grand-Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail at the winner's e-mail address provided at the time of entry. The Grand-Prize Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) business days of notification attempt or an alternate winner may be selected. If the Grand Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential Grand Prize Winner chooses to decline the Grand Prize for any reason, or fails to comply with these Official Rules and all the requirements set forth herein, the Grand Prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarded to a runner-up. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes.

4. Grand Prize. The Grand-Prize Winner will receive a scholarship that covers full tuition for eighteen (18) months of classes for an online Master's Degree from American College of Education (the "Scholarship"). The Scholarship may only be used in connection with the following ACE programs: Masters in Educational Technology, Masters in Educational Leadership, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, or Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with ESL or Bilingual specializations. The Scholarship may be applied to master's degrees only. For the avoidance of doubt, the Scholarship may not be used in connection with certification, endorsement, and licensure programs, partial degrees or any corresponding specializations areas (ESL and Bi-Lingual endorsements) other than as set forth herein. Scholarship monies will be paid directly to school and no money from the Grand-Prize Winner will be required for tuition. The Scholarship does not include, and the Grand-Prize Winner will be required to pay, (i) the $50 application fee in order to enroll at ACE (however the fee will be reimbursed after payment); and (ii) any additional standard fees imposed by the ACE (see the school's catalog addendum at www.ace.edu for more information on the standard fees). The Grand-Prize Winner must enroll in one of the approved programs at ACE by August 31, 2010, or the Scholarship will be forfeited in its entirety. Additionally, to continue to receive the Scholarship each semester, the Grand-Prize Winner must attend ACE continuously for the duration of their degree program, up to 18 months, and if the Grand-Prize Winner fails to enroll for a semester prior to completing his/her degree, the Grand-Prize Winner will forfeit the amount remaining on his/her Scholarship as of the date he/she fails to enroll.

The Grand-Prize Winner will also receive a $500 gift certificate for Scholastic products to be purchased online only at www.scholastic.com/shop (collectively with the Scholarship, the "Grand Prize"). The gift certificate will be delivered in the form of a promotional code that must be used within six (6) months of the date on the gift certificate. The promotional code is good for a one-time use only; any amount not redeemed during the initial purchasing session will be forfeited. This promotion may not be combined with other discounts, offers, or coupons.

Total Grand-Prize value $7,500 (Approximate retail value ("ARV").

The Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event the Grand Prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Incomplete entries will be discarded. The Scholarship must be initiated by August 31, 2010, or it will be forfeited. After Sponsor's reasonable attempt to award the Grand Prize, any unclaimed portion of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.

5. Use of Entry: All entries will become the property of American College of Education and will not be returned, and American College of Education and its designees, including Sponsor, may exploit, edit, publish, use, adapt, modify or dispose of any entry and element embodied therein, online, in print, film, television, or in any other media now or hereafter known for advertising, promotional, or other purposes throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or notification to, or permission of the entrant, except as prohibited by law.

6. General. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, warrant and represent that their entry information is accurate and that their entry does not violate any third party's rights. By accepting the Grand Prize, the Grand-Prize Winner grants to Sponsor and American College of Education the right to use his/her name, address, likeness, biographical information (including school name), live and taped performances of interview(s), for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to on the Scholastic.com web site or on any or all marketing collateral affiliated with and/or produced by American College of Education without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering and/or accepting the Grand Prize, entrants and the Grand-Prize Winner agree to release Sponsor, American College of Education, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion or production agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and employees of the foregoing, involved in the Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property of any nature that in any way arise from participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the Grand Prize (including any travel and prize-related activities related hereto). Taxes on the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Grand-Prize Winner. Subject to all applicable laws.

7. Internet. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telecommunications malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason (including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes) the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

8. Confidentiality. All entries, including all personal information collected from the entrants, are subject to American College of Education's privacy policy located at www.ace.edu.

9. Grand-Prize Winner's Name. The potential grand-prize winner will be notified by email on or about June 25, 2010. A notarized affidavit will be due from the potential grand-prize winner as set forth above. The Grand-Prize Winner's name shall be posted on or about July 23, 2010 at www.scholastic.com/dreambigscholarship.
