Dear Diary,
I fear for Boston and the well being of its people. This Crown back in England is causing an uproar. With so many taxes, Boston is more than ready to fight. That is why I'm afraid. Father and William speak so freely of how Britain can not control us any longer. How
we must stand up for our rights. I'm afraid corruption has found and
twisted its evil fingers into the very heart of Boston .
I saw Jesse finally and felt relieved. With so much uncertainty, it’s good to know that those you care about are safe. He seemed a little distant, a little preoccupied with his own thoughts. He said little but what stuck in my head is that he said he was READY TO FIGHT if he needed to.
I didn’t ever think I would need to worry about losing my brother, father, and friend – but now that’s all I think about. With the new taxes coming soon, it seems to have made people even angrier from what I can tell. Dearest diary – I will just pray we are safe because it seems imminent that blood will be shed…
