Dear Diary,
I cannot begin to describe to you the joy I felt last night. I
think it was the most enjoyable day of my life.
But, as Mother says, there is a good side and a bad side to everything.
While I was tending to my daily chores, Jesse stopped by. He saw
me outside the pigpen, and came over. I smiled and waved. He approached, but there was no smile on his face.
He told me that there were rumors about that King George might close Boston Harbor at some point in the future. That means we have no imported tea, none of the treats we enjoy. Some are begnning to think that throwing the tea wasn't a good idea.
Oh, I hope everything will work out peacefully.
