Customer Service

What is the Scholastic Guarantee?
We stand behind every magazine and book we publish. Take up to 30 days to evaluate the magazine you ordered. If you are not completely satisfied, simply call us or write "Cancel" on your invoice and owe nothing.

When will I receive my order?
Each magazine has a different schedule depending on how many issues there are per year. How soon you receive your first issue depends on when you place your order and the issue schedule. Generally you should expect to receive your first issue 3–4 weeks after you place your order. After the first issue, you will receive your magazines according to the standard schedule.

What happens if I want to change my order?
Simply call the Classroom Magazines customer service toll-free number,
1-800-SCHOLASTIC, or e-mail us at magazinecs@scholastic.com.
Please allow 4–6 weeks for your revision to take effect. (For monthly magazines, allow up to 8 weeks).

Who should I contact for information about my order?
Simply call the Classroom Magazines customer service toll-free number, 1-800-SCHOLASTIC, or e-mail us at magazinecs@scholastic.com.
Our representatives will work with you to resolve any problems.

What if I get duplicate orders?
If you receive duplicate sets of magazines, call the Classroom Magazines customer service toll-free number, 1-800-SCHOLASTIC, or e-mail us at magazinecs@scholastic.com. Please provide us with information from the shipping labels from both parcels so we can adjust our records.

How do I pay for my order?
Payments of check, money order or credit card are accepted. Payments should be sent back in the enclosed return envelope or sent to:

Scholastic Inc.
P.O. Box 3725
Jefferson City, MO 65102-3725
What if I have not received all of my magazines?
There are several things to check:
  • Look at the publication schedule in your Teacher's Edition to determine when to expect the issues. Publication dates vary among magazines.
  • Contact your local post office to see if there is any delivery problem or delay.
  • Check with other members of your school's staff. Someone may be holding your copies.
  • Notify us at 1-800-SCHOLASTIC

How are my magazines shipped?
Unless special arrangements have been made, the magazines are shipped using the United States Postal Service. Your magazines are shrink-wrapped and shipped in bundles that are "bailed" together. To meet mailing requirements, we limit the number magazine copies per package. Therefore, you may receive more than one package if you've ordered a large number of student subscriptions. All packages of a magazine issue mailing to the same address will be shipped on the same day.

How do I get my Teacher's Edition?
Teachers Editions — which include a copy of the student magazine — are supplied, at no additional cost, as follows:

  • Orders of 10–39 subscriptions — One Teacher's Edition
  • Orders of 40–69 subscriptions — Two Teacher's Editions
  • Every additional 30 subscriptions receives another Teacher's Edition

When your magazines are shipped in two or more packages, all Teacher's Editions are sent together in one of the packages. Orders of 1–9 subscriptions — please call 1-800-SCHOLASTIC.
