This book got me though a lot of times being bored, its very imaginative and as a 6th grader while reading it, it was too hard to put down, the characters were very described, I loved how they had Sorrel the grouchy brownie, and Twigleg too, the characters made it so interesting, I just hope they make a sequel.

Dragon Rider is a masterpiece of a true genius. Cornelia Funke is a talented writer to have created these amazing characters: that lonely boy Ben, the majestic silver dragon Firedrake, the grouchy, grumbling brownie, Sorrel, and the titchy Twigleg. A real page-turner, you won't want to put it down!

An absolutely wonderful book! My son (age 6) picked it out at a book fair and we spent the summer reading it together. His favorite character is Firedrake. I was just as interested in finding out what happened next as my son was! We're hoping that there are more stories to come about the characters in the book. We recommend it highly!

I think this book is an amazing book. I am reading this for
the second time and the book is so interesting that I can't
put it down. I am doing a Book Report on it and the descriptive
words make it so that you can almost hear the actual character
in the book. This is a mesmerizing book!!!

Dragon Rider is one of my most favorite books! It was a nice
change from Harry Potter books. It was well thought up by

This fantastic fantasy was by far the best book that I have
ever read. All of the characters were amazing, and Cornelia
Funke did a fabulous job! Every page was full of suspense,
and I never wanted to put it down! Twigleg was so cute, Ben
was so brave, Sorrel was so grumpy, and all of the other characters
had their own unique traits as well. Only one word sums it
all up. Phenomenal!

This was one of the awesome books I've ever read!!! It is
definitely one of my favorites, and books have to be really
good to be my favorites. This book is so good that once you
start reading it you won't want to put it down until the last
page, and then you will want to buy it (if you already haven't)!

a big dragon fan like me, and even if you aren't you will

I think this was an AWESOME book. Cornelia Funke is one great
author who knows how to keep readers glued to the pages of
her books. Action, fantasy, adventure... That's Ms. Funke's
recipe. If I were to rate this book out of ten, the score
