St. Margaret Science Club
Louisiana

The St. Margaret Science Club created a recycling campaign called "A Cleaner Today for a Greener Tomorrow" and a pledge campaign called "Change a Light to Save the World." The team took action by collecting paper, plastic, aluminum, and phone books. The team gathered 200 online pledges from people committed to changing their fluorescent light bulbs to environmentally friendly LED light bulbs. The team's efforts were recognized by their national senator, state senator, mayor, and NEED (National Energy Education Development).
