From Linda Foote's Diary of the California Wildfires
I took these pictures on Thursday, October 25, when we were told the fires had moved beyond our neighborhood. The flames left behind devastation and displaced families and animals.
Here, you can see the view around my neighbor's home — everything around her land except her house was burned. The land is covered with ashes.
So many lost their homes, including the many horses in our area, who are temporarily being "corralled" in the shopping cart pen of our local Costco.
