Meggie Zahneis lives in Ohio and was born in 1996.

•    Meggie founded Ridge Reporter, her middle school's newspaper, and is now is a reporter on her high school's newspaper.

•    She is a member of student council and Power of the Pen (a competitive creative writing team).

•    Some of her hobbies are reading, blogging, drawing, and following Major League Baseball.

•    When she grows up, Meggie wants to be a newspaper journalist.

"When my teacher told me about it, I jumped at the chance to become a Kid Reporter. I discovered my passion for writing in third grade, and I've been smitten ever since."
