Kid Reporter Grace McManus recently sat down with Soledad O'Brien, anchor of CNN's live morning show, Starting Point. O'Brien is known for her reporting on Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in Southeast Asia, and the earthquake in Haiti. She gets up at 2:15 each morning for her Monday through Friday two-hour news broadcast.
During the interview, O'Brien talked about the job that got her started in television news, how she keeps her cool during the pressures of live TV, her tips for aspiring young reporters, and the two stories she still wants to cover.
