Your students have the power to transform how energy is used at home and at school. Use the Energy Savers program to demonstrate all the ways they can conserve energy with fun math, science, social studies, and language arts activities that align with TEKS standards. Learn more about the program.
ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
Ten Texas classrooms that send in completed postcard worksheets to the Energy Savers program will receive a library of Scholastic books valued at $2,500!*
Review Energy Savers Lesson 4, then download the postcard template and distribute it to your students. Have students write about and illustrate their favorite energy-saving tips on the postcard templates that appear on the worksheet.
When the activity is done, collect your class's completed postcard worksheets in one envelope and mail it to:

Be sure to include your contact information (teacher name, grade, number of students, school name, school address, school phone number, and teacher email address).

Teachers who teach grades 2, 3, or 4, are legal residents of Texas, are 18 years of age or older, who work at the School, and are authorized to participate in the Incentive on behalf of their school are eligible to submit entries on behalf of the School.
