Storytelling Institute celebrates Black History Month

To celebrate Black History Month, the Storytelling Institute at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, hosted the event "Oral Traditions Today: Returning to the African Village" on February 18. The event featured music from the Arizona State University African Drum Ensemble, traditional chants, folktales, and dance from the West Coast region of Africa.
