Author Edwidge Danticat on her first picture book
Author Edwidge Danticat recently spoke to Scholastic Kid Reporter Albert Ordonez in her home in Miami, Florida, about her first picture book, Eight Days: A Story of Haiti. The book tells the story of how a young boy trapped in the rubble of the 2010 earthquake managed to survive by using his imagination.
