We couldn't be more delighted to start the school year with this exciting contest! Students create a compelling first sentence to kick off author Pam Muñoz Ryan's original Scope story.

His or her class will receive a class set of Pam Muñoz Ryan's latest book, The Dreamer. The winner's teacher will win a free one-year subscription to Scope.
