The U.S. Census Bureau's Census in Schools program provides educators with resources to teach the nation's students about the importance of the census, and the ways census data can be used in the classroom. For the 2010 Census, the It's About Us lessons will help deliver the message of the importance of participation to students and their families.
Census in Schools will reach students in grades K-12 in the 50 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.
At Census in Schools, educators, parents, and kids will find a wide array of lessons, activities, and information that make census data come alive. The site features memory games, word finds, state facts, coloring pages, and more.
