Scholastic Children’s Defense Fund Fellowship Network

The Fellows worked as a team to help develop the Fellowship Network – the Scholastic CDF Fellows’ website. With guidance from the Corporate Relations team and eScholastic Project Mentors, the Fellows were responsible for the following:
• deciding on the “look and feel” of the website
• creating a sitemap
• reviewing the website’s wireframe and fine-tuning it with the site's producer
• overseeing design treatments
• supplying all editorial content
The Network is an extension of the Scholastic Children's Defense Fund Fellows program. It is designed to memorialize the fellowship program as well as to foster ongoing conversations about leadership and career development among current, former and Future fellows. As a resource center for current students, recent college graduates, and prospective Fellows, the Network allows Fellows to remain in-touch, to serve as peer-mentors, and to connect with professionals at Scholastic and elsewhere. The Network consists of an online message board, an electronic archive of past group projects, and an electronic Newsletter providing professional development tips and event information.
