Is your child a hands-on learner?
Every kid learns differently. Which categories match your son or daughter?
1. Simultaneous vs. sequential: Does he dive in to projects or think things through first?
2. Connecting vs. compartmentalizing: Does she make connections between things she sees in different contexts? Or does she consider each grouping (in, say, the colors of a stack of blocks or on a road sign) as unique?
3. Inventing vs. reproducing: Does he prefer making things up or using what's there?
4. 2-D vs. 3-D: Does she gravitate toward words and other symbols or feel more comfortable working and playing with concrete things?
