Make Your Fair Social with Facebook
Many schools are using Facebook to promote their Book Fair. It's an effective way to share information about your event with teachers, parents, and others in your community.
| Here are a few ideas to help you get started: |

Create a dedicated page for your school's Book Fair. |

Share updates about events like Muffins for Moms or classroom reading challenges. |

Include photos from previous Book Fairs or setup of the upcoming Fair to generate interest in the page. |

Offer a "sneak peek" at the books that will be on sale. |
| • |
Use the page to recruit volunteers, update them about work schedules, and to thank them for their help – both during and after the Book Fair. |

What's Your Bookprint?
 Scholastic's new social networking site – You Are What You Read – has the whole world talking about books.
Join the discussion by logging on and sharing your "Bookprint" – five books that shaped you. From there, you can connect with readers all over the world, including hundreds of participating "Names You Know" – notable names from entertainment, sports, media, publishing, academia, and more. Your students can participate too! There's a separate community for kids 12 and under.
