Do Scholastic Dollars expire?
All Scholastic Dollars earned as profit are available indefinitely. The pre-Fair bonus is valid for eight weeks after the end date of your Fair. All other bonuses and rewards need to be used within six months of your Fair start date.
How can I spend my Scholastic Dollars?
Scholastic Dollars can be spent at your Fair, at your local warehouse, off of the regional Scholastic Dollars booklist, or through the School Resource Catalog.
How often is the School Resource Catalog updated?
The print catalog is updated each September. You will receive the most recent catalog in your Book Fair Planning Kit. New items are always being added to our online catalog, so check back often!
Can I use my Scholastic Dollars to cover shipping and sales tax?
Yes. You may use Scholastic Dollars to cover all catalog order costs, including shipping and sales tax, if applicable. Please note: shipping and handling is 10% of your order total, up to a $100.00 maximum.
Is library processing available?
We offer library processing for all of our hardcover and library-bound selections. In the print catalog, items with processing available are marked with an “LP” icon. On the Web, all items with processing available have the processing option noted on the page.
How can I identify a library-bound item?
In the catalog, library-bound items are marked with an “LB” icon. On the web, all library-bound items can be found under the Books & Authors tab or by typing “library bound” in the search field.
What if my order total exceeds the Scholastic Dollars I have available?
If your order total exceeds your available Scholastic Dollars, the balance can be paid with a credit card, school or personal check, or school purchase order.
Are all of the products in the print catalog available on the website?
Yes. If you do see an item in the print catalog but cannot find it on the website, the item may be out-of-stock. Please contact customer service for an expected arrival date.
When will I receive the products I’ve ordered?
Most items will be shipped to your school within 7-10 business days. Furniture, carpets, equipment, and library processing can take 4-6 weeks to arrive.
What happens if an item that I’ve ordered is out of stock?
We will attempt to contact you regarding any out-of-stock items. In the event that we are unable to reach you, we will ship the available items, and return the cost of any out-of-stock items to your account so that you may choose a substitute at your leisure.
How can I return an item?
We accept returns within 30 days of your order date. To obtain return authorization, please have your order number ready when you call customer service at 800-799-7323.
