Special Announcement:
Coming Soon: Toolkit Login with Password
Our Book Fair chairpeople have asked for a more secure login for the Toolkit - and it's coming later this fall! Your login to the Toolkit will be the same login and password as your Scholastic (global) login. You'll continue to use your email address as your user name, and we'll ask you to add a password. If you already have an account anywhere on the Scholastic website, you'll be all set. If you don't, you'll be asked to create a Scholastic account. The process only takes a few minutes. This means there will be just one Scholastic login to remember for the Toolkit or anywhere else on scholastic.com!

| Workshops Offer Chance to Meet Chairpeople in Your Community |

But another great part of the workshop experience is the opportunity to meet other Chairpeople. Workshops provide a forum to talk to others and share your ideas on how to manage, decorate and promote the Book Fair in your community.

| New World Reading Record Set in 2012 Summer Challenge |
Students have something to celebrate - they set a new world record for summer reading, making 2012 the biggest summer of reading ever. As part of the Scholastic Summer Challenge, more than 193,000 kids representing all 50 states and 25 countries read and logged an impressive 95,859,491 minutes, breaking last year's world record of 64,213,141 minutes.
The top 20 schools that read and logged the most minutes will be listed in the 2013 Scholastic Book of World Records, which will be available through Scholastic Book Clubs, Scholastic Book Fairs, bookstores nationwide and as an ebook on Storia™ in winter 2012.
