Enter the Deep Ink Sticker Contest and your winning phrase could be designed into a Deep Ink sticker and featured as part of the Deep Ink sticker collection for Scholastic Book Fairs.OFFICIAL RULES ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest open to all ages. HOW TO ENTER: Use the Official Entry Form (PDF Form) or send in your sticker idea on notebook paper, along with your full name, address, age and phone number. Mail your entry to: Scholastic Book Fairs, Deep Ink Contest 1080 Greenwood Boulevard Lake Mary, FL 32746 Send in as many ideas as you like. Entries received by December 31, 2008 will be judged for the 2009 contest. Entries received after December 31, 2008 will be judged for subsequent contests. By entering, entrants agree to abide by all contest rules, represent that their entry is an original idea and grant Scholastic the right to edit, publish, promote, sell and otherwise use the entry without further notice or compensation. All entries, including rights, therein of winning entries become the property of Scholastic Book Fairs, Inc., and will not be returned. Void in Puerto Rico and where otherwise prohibited by law. PRIZE: Winners will have their winning phrase designed into a Deep Ink sticker and featured as part of the Deep Ink sticker collection for Scholastic Book Fairs. The winning stickers credit the individual who submitted the idea by listing the name, city, and state of the entrant on the back of the sticker. Winners will receive 100 copies of the final sticker design. WINNER SELECTION: Entries will be evaluated and winners selected based on the following criteria: Originality and creativity of phrase; appeal of phrase based on cleverness, humor, wit and appropriateness for middle school audience. Entries containing offensive, sexual or inappropriate themes and/or language will not be considered. Judges will be Scholastic Book Fairs marketing professionals. Up to 10 entries may be named winners in the contest, however, Scholastic reserves the right not to name any winners and/or to include ideas created by Scholastic Book Fairs should judges determine entries fail to meet criteria. Ideas created by Scholastic Book Fairs would not be deemed winners of the contest and would not be eligible or awarded prizes. In addition, Scholastic may terminate the contest for any reason, at any time, without notice. All 2009 contest winners, if any, will be notified by mail or telephone by April 1, 2009. All winners, and their parents or legal guardian if under 18, will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release Form. GENERAL: By accepting the prize, each winner grants Scholastic the right use his or her name, likeness, hometown, biographical information and entry for purposes of advertising, promotion, revenue generation, including on the Scholastic Web site, www.scholastic.com, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to release Scholastic Book Fairs, Inc., its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents from any and all liability or damages of any kind sustained through participation in this contest and/or use of a prize once accepted. Scholastic is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, damaged, mutilated, postage due, incomplete or ineligible entries or mail.
