Your School + Classroom Wish List = A Winning Formula
Why a Classroom Wish List program? It helps build classroom libraries and promotes interest in reading, with the added benefit of boosting your Book Fair sales. Plus, it's easy:
- Set up a display with the materials we provide.
- Invite teachers to a special preview to select the books.
- Encourage customers to purchase and donate books.
Everyone wants to support your school! Show them how by promoting the Classroom Wish List program to family, friends, and teachers. When you promote the Classroom Wish List program you will receive
Customer Rewards in the form of IRC vouchers that you can redeem in our exclusive
Instructional Resource Catalog.
How it Works

- Have teachers place their Book Donation Cards in their card pocket on the Classroom Wish List display board.
- Remind teachers to include information about their Classroom Wish List book requests on their Classroom Homepage.
- Advertise. Ask your volunteers to wear Classroom Wish List stickers (PDF 180KB) during your Book Fair.
- At the Book Fair, shoppers select a Book Donation Card, take it to the cashier, pay for the book, and fill out a Bookplate (PDF 102KB).
- A Book Fair volunteer or chairperson presents the Book Donation Card and Bookplate, along with the book, to the teacher.
