Try several of these activities to publicize your fair:

Use Posters, Signs & Announcements

• Create a bulletin board or display to advertise your Book Fair and grab everyone's attention.

• Lead the way to the Book Fair with posters and signs. Add your school's name and Fair dates to any of these printable announcements.
  
  
• Include articles about the Book Fair in your school's newsletter or Web site before and after the Fair. Download these sample articles or write your own.
  
  
• Announce Book Fair dates on the school marquee.

Inspire Young Authors & Illustrators

Create excitement and increase your Book Fair sales by sharing the Author Video with your school. Students and teachers will get to meet talented authors and illustrators whose inspiration is guaranteed to motivate a new generation of writers. Involve Teachers

• Enlist the help of teachers by telling them about the Teacher's Guide to Book Fairs at http://teacher.scholastic.com/fairs/ where they can find out how to make the most of the Book Fair. They can even create a Classroom Homepage!
  
  
• Ask the school librarian to include a Book Fair bookmark in checked-out books leading up to and during your Fair. Use our bookmarks and customize them with your school name and Fair dates.

Excite Students
