The Astroblast Rocket Rules are core themes introduced and reintroduced by different characters through different stories in each episode. Each concept is explored repeatedly to build excitement around the actions that support the show's learning goals.

Rocket Rule #1 – Reach for the Stars
Anything is achievable! Meeting children where they're at is essential, but kids learn best when they can build off self-confidence and what they already know to meet new responsibilities and challenges.

Rocket Rule #2 – It's NOT Lonely Out in Space!
Friendships are important! Demonstrating compassion, respect, compromise, and consideration for others in relationships with friends provide many opportunities for socio-emotional growth.

Rocket Rule #3 – Stars Shine Brightest When They Shine Together
Just like in the real world, working together to achieve a common goal promotes a healthy social environment. Listening to each other, expressing feelings, and resolving conflicts nurture positive relationships.

Rocket Rule #4 – Space is spacious...and everyone is welcome!
Respecting difference and cultivating acceptance is cool! Life is so much more interesting—and more fun— when we can accept what makes individuals unique as well as what they share in common.

Food gives our bodies energy to walk, play, and travel to different planets! That's why it's important to 'smart-fuel' our bodies with healthy, colorful fruits and vegetables.

Rocket Rule #6 – Recharge Your Batteries
Just as active play is important to growth and development, so too is sleep to live healthfully! Sleep is a habit necessary for enjoying one's self and having positive interactions during the day.

Rocket Rule #7 – Blast Off!
Active engagement in the world is good! Asking questions, pursuing meaning and even making an occasional mistake helps kids actively construct their educational experiences and heightens their ability to function together with others.
