Xena, Warrior Princess, is Rachel's nickname and why wouldn't it be when no matter how dangerous the situation, she's always the first to say "I'm in!" Not many people would have the same attitude if they were battling aliens. Would you?
Well, Brooke Nevin didn't exactly have a similar experience to
compare battling aliens to, but she knows what being brave is all
about. Try competing against hundreds of hopefuls for the part of
Rachel on Animorphs TV. That's pretty scary! But she did it, and
she won! Go behind the scenes with Brooke in this video clip to
find out the secret to Rachel's strength.
Acting may not be as dangerous as an alien invasion, but it keeps Brooke very busy. She can identify with the Animorphs' struggle to balance their alien-fighting lives with their regular kid lives. It's hard to find time to do the things she loves, like skiing, rollerblading, and listening to music. She's not quite the fashion junky that Rachel is, but she does like to shop with her friends for comfy, casual clothes.
We all know that Rachel's got a soft spot for Tobias, but Brooke
said she just didn't have time for boyfriends while shooting Animorphs.
She's got her hands full with filming, going to school, and spending
any time off with friends.
