Tell your students about the greenest contest in the land!

Students now have a chance to show their classmates, teachers, parents, as well as future generations how much they really care about the sustainability of the world. How? By entering the 2010 America's Greenest School℠ Contest.

Students, grades K-12, need to submit an entry explaining what they'd do if they were in charge of making their school a greener, more eco-friendly place. Entries can be in the form of a photo collection, music, a video, an essay, or photos of a diorama, collage, or piece of artwork. But no matter what form it takes, the entry must tell the world how students would make their school experience the greenest in the country.

Encourage your students to enter today!

They have until March 8, 2010 to submit entries. And while you're at it, e-mail your students' parents and school PTA to give them a heads-up about this great contest.

America will choose the winner from 10 finalists through online voting. The winner will be announced the week of Earth Day in April 2010. See full rules for more details.
